just a short one for now... i thinkies...
excited bc i got new keycaps for my keyboard!!! they are nice and colorful , purple and pink :333
also well... 2 days ago i think? i got the stuff i needed to fix my wii, except nintendo makes stuff insanely hard to unscrew and someone else in my household misplaced the bluetooth module i needed so!!!! honestly am just thinking of selling this one as for parts and getting a new one!!!! fr fr i am at my wits end bc when i got this it was supposed to be working in the first place. WHAT. THE HECK!
daah anyway... nothing for it but just to try and get a new one i guess... before that tho i might just try buying a better screwdriver as a last resort the ones i got were kinda cheap...
oh YEAH wtf i cant believe i almost neglected to mention this! last night i installed mx linux on my old toshiba satellite (who i've named satella, or ella/ellie for short)!! some may recognize from another site, someone who had a toshiba satellite with a windows 7 and linux mint dualboot... i changed that last night!!!! for 2 reasons...
- windows 7 already ran waaayyy too slow on that computer and thats what it came with!!!! seriously shity intel cpu and 1.5GB of ram you are torturing the poor girl with that workload...
- 32bit so the version of mint i was running was oooooold as balls! and that felt unfair to her to be forcing her to run TWO outdated operating systems when she could be running a modern and up to date one like mx linux...
so, yeah! when i first installed it i immediately noticed a huge jump in performance and even modern applications like firefox loaded way faster -- under windows 7 after booting up the PC firefox would usually take at least a minute, usually more, to open, whereas under the same conditions on mx linux it only takes about 30 seconds (and subsequent openings are much faster). seriously what were they thinking putting a resource hog like windows 7 on that thing!!!! at least its better now... :3
but ummm yea!! i gotta go feed the stray cats outside so errmm adios!
